Pittsburgh

We all went to Pittsburgh this weekend to watch the Mets play the Pirates. It was a quick trip, but we had a great time.

In the spirit of our pilot, who kept announcing he had good news and bad news, here's a list of good news and bad news from this weekend:

The Good News:

We made it there and back safely.

We found a cool comics store a few blocks from our hotel. Spencer left with some Archie and Richie Rich comics. Bo chose Superman, Spiderman, and Ironman comics. Jason bought Tucker a Flash figurine to honor his nickname, Flash.

Our seats at the baseball stadium were under an overhang, out of the sun, on the first base side, and we had a great view of the game. We also got to sit with another friend who was there. It was fun catching up with him.

R.A. pitched a great game.

The Bad News:

The Mets lost 3-2.

We waited on the runway (coming back today) for 3 hours, which, in case you don't remember or have never experienced traveling with a 10-month-old, is a long time. And we were waiting to go to Philadelphia first, which, in case you haven't looked at a map lately, is NOT on the way to Nashville.
